November 2011

November was a fun month for me. I had a lot of fun with my family during Thanksgiving break. My uncle made a lot of good food for Thanksgiving Day. I ate a lot of food. I am looking forward for finals to end and Christmas break to begin. I am also ready for this year’s baseball season at CB and I think we will have a good one.

October 2011

October was a lot of fun especially Halloween. I went trick or treating with my friends, and I got a lot of candy. It is going to take me a couple of months to finish it. I am very happy we made playoffs for soccer. We won our first playoff game, and I hope we keep winning.

September 2011
In the month of September there were a lot of things going on at school.  First, we had QSP, that's when we sell magazines.  If we earn enough money we get a day off of school.  We will get the day off in November.  Also, during club day I signed up for a kids basketball club where we will play basketball during lunch.  In soccer we're having a great season.  So far we only have one loss and I am looking forward to playoffs.

August 2011
This summer was the best summer I've ever had.  I was able to play baseball over the summer with all of my old friends.  I had fun and learned new baseball techniques.  I also had a chance to work for the summer.  I thought it was an exciting new experience to have my own job.  School has started already and I was happy to see my friends again.

January 2011

During the month of December was one of the busiest months in the school year. We had finals coming up and it was also going to be the end of the first semester. I had baseball training so we could be ready for the upcoming season. We also had a couple of scrimmage games with each other so we can know what to expect. I had been waiting for finals to come up because expected and I have studied a lot for those finals. I am also going to be working out with my baseball coaches during my Christmas break. I am very excited to be working with my coaches because they expect a lot of things for me and I need to accomplish those expectations.

November 2010
These last two months were the best months in school.  My soccer team was able to go to the playoffs and play McClatchy.  Unfortunately, we lost against them 3-1.  Now with soccer season over,  I am starting baseball conditioning.  It's going to be great because I get to lift weights.  This year's baseball season should be really fun!  We will be starting our Christmas break soon.  I am feeling good about my finals because I learned a lot and I still remember all I learned this year.

September 2010
My second month at Christian Brothers has come to an end and so far I am maintaining a GPA of 3.14!
I finally had to write my first essay and I thought I did great on it.  Unfortunately, we lost the Holy Bowl
against Jesuit.  Our Junior Varsity held them in the first half 30-6.  At the end of the game Jesuit came
back and tied the game 30-30.  The freshmen team crushed them 40-0.  Our soccer team lost against
Bella Vista and I played the whole first half of the game.  Our soccer team finally won a game!  Our first
win was against Oakmont.  So I ended the month on a great note.

August 2010
My first two weeks as a junior at Christian Brothers has passed.  My first day at school went well, but on the second day all of my teachers started giving tests and quizzes.  All of the teachers I have are nice and willing to help me with any struggles I may face during the year.  I also met new friends in my classes.  I am on the soccer team and I am excited for the new team we have.  I am looking forward to the new season and hope for a better one than last year.

One of my goals this year is to shoot for a 3.5 GPA.  I really want good grades this year because I only have two years left at Christian Brothers.  The Holy Bowl is next week and everyone's excited for the big game.  Our soccer team faced Jesuit, but unfortunately we lost.

August 2009
I am only two weeks into my Sophomore year and I have some great news.  During my first game on Christian Brother's JV soccer team, I was asked to be team captain.  I have never had an opportunity like this before, and I am very happy.  I credit my soccer talent to the fact that I have always played with teammates older than myself.  As a kid, I played with my older brother, and by the time I was 14, I started playing with adults.  I know it will be a challenge to keep up with my homework, and attend all the soccer practices and games, but I am ready to give it my all!
