December 2011

My fifth month at Christian Brothers has been great. I finished my finals and I felt pretty good about them. This month has been very busy for my family because we were getting prepared for Christmas. Our Christmas was wonderful because we were together as a family.

November 2011

My fourth month at Christian Brothers has been great and I am studying hard. I recently took a couple of math test and I passed each one.  That made me feel good because I realized I could succeed in math and I’m learning perseverance. The beginning of the year I felt very different because last year I was in a home school. Now I know how it feels going to a big high school. My goal has been accomplished by having good grades this semester and keeping my GPA 3.0 or higher. I want to give thanks to all my teachers who have given me help when I needed it. The more help I get more I can persevere to reach my goals.

My third month of high school has been great so far.  The sad part was that I couldn’t go to the homecoming rally at Christian Brothers High School.  The subject that I am not doing well in is History.  I’m trying so hard to keep my grades up.  I’m doing pretty well. I’m spending my freshman year at the best high school ever. I have kept my values in me to help me out, and I am not going to give up on my school work.

My second month at Christian Brothers High School was very fun.  I achieved my goal of making a lot of friends and it's made me happy.  I have passed my third math test during my freshman year.  I love my life with all of these opportunities, and I love that I can get help with these special teachers.

August 2011
My first day going to Christian Brothers High School was very different.  After spending two years being home-schooled at MVP, I was now at a large private school.  I had a hard time opening my locker and finding my classes on the first day.  Lock-in was the best time I’ve ever had.  There were a lot of kids dancing and having a great time.  Overall, my first month at Christian Brothers has been exciting because I’m reaching my goals of having my values and making new friends.  Hopefully I will graduate and keep the values with me forever. I love to see my mom smile when I come back from school each day because she wants me to succeed
